Eventus Legal are seeking a Wills & Probate Solicitor to join an established private client team in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire. This is a permanent job position, with full-time working preferred although part-time applications will be considered. The opportunity offers a varied private client caseload, potential hybrid working, 23 days holiday plus UK bank holidays and additional paid days for your birthday and Christmas, alongside genuine scope to progress your career. 

Role Responsibilities 

The Wills & Probate Solicitor will manage a varied private client caseload and provide clear, practical and compassionate advice to individuals and families. Key responsibilities will include: 

• Managing your own caseload of Wills & Probate and wider private client matters 

• Drafting and advising on Wills and estate planning 

• Handling probate and estate administration matters 

• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney 

• Dealing with Court of Protection matters 

• Advising on trusts and Inheritance Tax planning 

• Advising executors and beneficiaries 

• Supporting clients with estate and succession planning 

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering a high standard of client care 

Person Specification 

This opportunity would suit a qualified Solicitor with relevant Wills & Probate experience who is confident managing matters independently while contributing positively to a supportive team. You should also be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Relevant experience across Wills & Probate and private client work 

• Excellent client care and communication skills 

• A compassionate and approachable manner, particularly when supporting clients through difficult or emotional circumstances 

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail 

• The ability to manage your own caseload effectively 

• A practical and commercially aware approach 

• An interest in building and maintaining long-term client relationships 

• A collaborative approach and willingness to play an active part in the wider team
