Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join the Property Department of a highly respected law firm based in Northwich, Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering the chance to manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, with potential to handle light commercial work. About the Role
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters and contribute to the continued development of the department. The caseload will include:
- Sales and purchases, including leasehold and new build properties
- Re-mortgages and transfer of equity
- Right to Buy and shared ownership transactions
- Lease extensions and deeds of variation
- Light commercial transactions such as lease work, share sales, and section 106 agreements
In addition, the role involves:
- Responsibility for annual Law Society CQS accreditation renewal
- Participation in business development and marketing activities
- Supporting team growth by maintaining and generating client relationships
About You
This role would suit a qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven ability to manage a full conveyancing caseload independently
- Confidence in dealing with clients and third parties
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive and team-oriented attitude
Additional desirable experience includes:
- Exposure to light commercial property transactions
- Familiarity with Quill case management software

This role offers a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience, alongside excellent benefits including:

The position is office-based due to the collaborative nature of the team. However, part-time applications will be considered for more experienced individuals.
