Eventus Legal are seeking a Senior Residential Conveyancer Team Leader to join an expanding Residential Conveyancing team in Leicester, Leicestershire. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 and hybrid working, with remote working available for two days from home each week. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential property professional to lead and develop a busy team while continuing to manage a varied caseload.  

Role Responsibilities 

As Senior Residential Conveyancer Team Leader in Leicester, Leicestershire you will combine hands-on residential conveyancing with responsibility for managing and developing the Leicester team. 

• Manage and develop the Residential Conveyancing team, providing day to day leadership and support. 

• Handle a varied residential property caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build matters, remortgages, equity release and transfers of equity. 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional referrers. 

• Support the continued growth of the residential conveyancing offering through effective business development activity. 

• Manage your own workload with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of organisation and compliance. 

• Use case management systems effectively and contribute to efficient working practices across the team. 

Person Specification 

Applications are invited from experienced residential conveyancing professionals in Leicester, Leicestershire or the surrounding areas who can demonstrate both technical capability and confident team leadership. 

• Proven experience of working within a busy residential property team and managing a varied conveyancing caseload. 

• Previous experience of managing or leading a team is essential. 

• Strong business development skills and confidence in developing relationships with clients and referrers. 

• Excellent organisation and compliance skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. 

• IT literacy and previous working knowledge of case management systems. 

• A committed and enthusiastic approach to developing both the team and your own career. 

• Formal legal qualifications are not essential where you have the required experience, and support towards becoming a Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or Solicitor can be considered.
