Working Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, on a permanent full-time basis, this is a great career opportunity with an established and successful firm. Role Responsibilities
This Senior Paraplanner job is designed to support Financial Advisers in delivering tailored financial strategies and holistic advice to clients. Responsibilities will span across research, report writing, compliance, and team collaboration.
- Preparing accurate financial plans and suitability reports in collaboration with Consultants
- Undertaking research and analysis to meet clients' objectives and financial needs
- Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Holistic Financial Planning (Lifestyle Planning)
- Handling various aspects of advice including Inheritance Tax Planning and Trusts
- Engaging in continuous professional development to meet regulatory and personal growth requirements
- Managing personal workflow and ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Ensuring compliant business conduct and adherence to legislative requirements
- Providing technical support to the Administration department with compliance-based and technical queries
- Collaborating with the Client Services Team to ensure implementation of advice is accurate and compliant
Person Specification
This Senior Paraplanner job near Chester, Cheshire, is ideal for experienced financial planning professionals with strong technical knowledge and an eye for detail.
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Significant experience working in a Paraplanning role
- Excellent report writing and financial planning skills
- Proficiency in cashflow forecasting
- Client-facing confidence and credibility
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- A meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Friendly, client-focused, and team-oriented
- Proactive mindset with the drive for self-development and improvement
