Eventus Legal are seeking a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join a successful team in the Manchester office of an award-winning commercial law firm. This is a permanent, full-time position offering hybrid working and flexible hours. The firm is offering an attractive package including a salary ranging from £65,000 to £90,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), healthcare scheme, private healthcare, life cover and more.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to work with this outstanding firm on an impressive portfolio of clients, including household names, on high-quality commercial work. Your key responsibilities in this role include:
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements
- Managing matters including supply, distribution, agency, joint venture, IT, licensing, outsourcing and confidentiality contracts
- Providing commercially focused legal advice to clients across multiple sectors
- Maintaining strong client relationships and understanding individual business needs
The firm provide expert advice to clients across various sectors including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, leisure and hospitality.
About You
You will be an experienced Commercial Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE and a solid foundation in commercial contracts. You will also demonstrate:
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Experience gained in private practice, in-house or a public sector legal team
- The ability to manage your own caseload independently
- Effective communication skills and commercial
While a following would be advantageous, it’s by no means essential, especially if you’ve developed solid commercial expertise in an in-house environment.
