Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join a long-standing, CQS-accredited law firm in Windsor, Berkshire. This is an office-based, permanent job opportunity within an established residential property team, handling a manageable caseload of approximately 50 to 60 files from instruction through to completion. Role Responsibilities
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload within a supportive property team, with administrative support available. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 50 to 60 residential property files
- Handling matters from instruction through to completion
- Acting on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Progressing transactions efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care and communication
- Managing title, enquiries, reporting and the key stages of the conveyancing process
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff across the residential property team
- Handling new-build transactions where appropriate to your experience and confidence, with flexibility for these matters to be reallocated where needed
Person Specification
This opportunity would suit an experienced Residential Conveyancer who is comfortable managing a varied caseload independently while working as part of a close-knit team. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Around 3 years' post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge across freehold and leasehold residential property matters
- Experience of managing files through the full conveyancing process
- A practical and organised approach to caseload management and deadlines
- Strong client care and communication skills
- A proactive, accurate and commercially aware approach to your work
- The ability to work effectively with administrative support and other members of the property team
- Experience of working within the Conveyancing Quality Scheme protocol or a similarly structured residential conveyancing environment
