Eventus Recruitment Group is seeking a Residential Property Conveyancer for an outstanding Legal 500 firm at their Tunbridge Wells office. This is a full-time, permanent role offering hybrid working after an initial training period, allowing two days per week to work from home. Salary is £45,000 – £65,000 depending on qualifications, experience, and PQE if applicable. Role Responsibilities
Working within a highly respected Residential Property team, you will handle a broad range of high-value and complex conveyancing matters. The firm is known for its longstanding client relationships and exceptional service standards. The work is varied, and there is a strong team-based culture within the department.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing files including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, lease extensions, transfers of equity, and high-value or complex transactions
- Advising clients on the legal aspects of buying, selling, and transferring residential property
- Conducting title checks, reviewing property searches, and drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals
- Maintaining excellent client relationships and providing regular updates throughout the transaction process
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements at all stages
Person Specification
To be successful in your application for this Residential Property Conveyancer role, you will ideally be qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer. However, qualified by experience conveyancers will also be considered.
You will also possess the following experience and attributes:
- Demonstrated experience managing your own caseload of complex residential conveyancing matters
- Exceptional client care skills with a focus on providing clear, timely communication
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and file management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive working environment
- Confident in influencing and communicating with stakeholders to move transactions forward efficiently
