Eventus Legal are seeking a qualified Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with experience to join a successful team based in Halifax. The successful candidate will be working with team secretarial support and will join the team on a permanent basis.
Role responsibilities
The incoming Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will be part of a team of Residential Conveyancing specialists, managing a caseload from start to finish. You will be responsible for progressing your own caseload of files, both freehold and leasehold, sales and purchase (along with all associated matters), including dealing with contract checks, mortgage reports and search results; through to replying to freehold and leasehold enquiries, and dealing with complex queries. You will be dealing with the exchange of contracts and completion of your own transactions, all whilst providing a first-class service for clients.
Person specification
Applications are sought from experienced Residential Conveyancers, who are qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licenced Conveyancers, with a minimum of 3 PQE. You will have experience across all areas of residential conveyancing as outlined above and you will be able to manage a caseload without supervision. Client care skills are paramount.
