Role Responsibilities

You will manage your own residential property caseload from initial instruction through to completion, delivering clear advice and a high standard of client care throughout. Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of residential sales, purchases and other conveyancing transactions.
• Handling matters from initial instruction through to completion while keeping clients updated throughout the process.
• Preparing, reviewing and progressing the legal documentation required for residential property transactions.
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
• Managing competing priorities effectively while maintaining accuracy, compliance and strong client service.

Person Specification

This Residential Property Solicitor opportunity would suit an experienced residential conveyancer who can manage a busy caseload with limited supervision. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualification as a Solicitor or Legal Executive would be advantageous, together with relevant residential property experience.
• At least three years' experience within a busy residential conveyancing environment.
• Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and the ability to progress your own files effectively.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Confidence using legal technology and case management systems.
• A sound understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to residential conveyancing.
• A professional, discreet and client-focused approach.
