Eventus Legal is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established and highly respected law firm at their Horsforth office, West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional with strong leasehold expertise to manage a varied caseload of residential property matters. Role Responsibilities

The successful Residential Conveyancer will be responsible for managing their own caseload with minimal supervision while working closely with colleagues within the conveyancing team. Duties will include:

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, transfers of equity and other residential property matters
  • Reviewing and reporting on leases, management packs, service charges, ground rent provisions and complex leasehold arrangements
  • Preparing and processing legal documentation using the firm's case management system
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties throughout transactions
  • Delivering excellent client care while ensuring matters progress efficiently and within agreed timescales
  • Supporting business development activities by building relationships within the local market and identifying opportunities to generate new work
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues whilst also being capable of managing a busy workload independently

Person Specification

Applications are welcomed from experienced Residential Conveyancers with at least 3 years' experience managing their own caseload.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 years' technical experience within residential conveyancing
  • Proven experience handling both freehold and leasehold transactions independently
  • Strong knowledge of leasehold matters, including lease reviews, service charges, management companies and ground rent provisions
  • Excellent client care and relationship management skills
  • Previous experience using a case management system such as SOS or similar
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commercial awareness with the confidence to participate in business development activities
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing positively within a team environment
