Eventus Legal are seeking an ambitious Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, all PQE levels considered) to join one of the UK’s leading commercial law firms, based within their modern commercial offices in central Northampton, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent, full time job opportunity and would suit an ambitious Residential Conveyancer with experience handling a caseload of Conveyancing transactions. Role Responsibilities 

As a Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer) in Northampton, Northamptonshire, your new job will see you working closely with the wider Residential Conveyancing team taking responsibility for your own caseload of files. 

You will be fully supported by an experienced and dynamic team and have a dedicated legal assistant to enable you to focus on providing high quality service to each and every client.  

This opportunity would suit an ambitious and confident Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer) with a solid background in Residential Conveyancing who is looking to take a new challenge and handle a quality, low volume caseload. 

Specific duties will include: 

• Handle all conveyancing matters from the initial instruction to post completion 

Manage residential sales & purchases 

• Handle remortgage transactions and equity release transactions. 

• Check titles of freehold and leasehold properties 

• Deal with the transfer of equity and matrimonial transfer 

• Provide suitable support and training to the department’s conveyancing assistants 

• Develop client contacts in the local area 

Person Specification 

Applications are sought from Residential Conveyancers (Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers) in Northampton, Northamptonshire. 

Applications are also sought from experienced non-qualified seasoned residential conveyancing fee earners who have a solid background in handling conveyancing matters. 

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ PQE+ but all levels of PQE are considered) 

• Confident handling an autonomous caseload of residential conveyancing transactions 

• Ability to work with minimal supervision but also part of a team and assist on complex matters as and when necessary 

• Ability to liaise with clients and build strong relationships 

• Good organisation skills with a methodical approach 

• Self-motivated and proactive 

• IT proficient
