Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established law firm in Worcester, Worcestershire. This is a full-time, permanent job offering the opportunity to handle a broad range of residential property matters within a supportive and forward-thinking legal practice.

About the Role

As a Residential Property Lawyer, you will manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters while delivering a high level of service to clients throughout the transaction process. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied workload, regular client interaction and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of the department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Advising clients on remortgages, transfers of equity and related property transactions
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Working closely with estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring files remain fully compliant
  • Providing clear and practical advice throughout the conveyancing process
  • Monitoring transaction progress and proactively resolving issues
  • Utilising case management systems effectively to manage workflows
  • Supporting the continued development of the residential property offering

About You

To be successful in this Residential Conveyancer job, you will have previous experience managing residential conveyancing matters independently and be confident handling a varied caseload. You will be organised, proactive and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience while working collaboratively with colleagues and external contacts.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualified Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, Solicitor or experienced Residential Property Fee Earner
  • Proven experience managing residential conveyancing transactions independently
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • A proactive and practical approach to managing files and resolving issues
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional approach when dealing with clients, colleagues and third parties
  • Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a collaborative team culture
