Residential Property Fee Earner

Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Property Fee Earner to join a specialist property law firm with an excellent reputation for providing an efficient and high-quality service to clients in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Conveyancer with a minimum of 2–3 years’ PQE or equivalent experience, whether as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Practitioner.

You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from inception through to completion, including handling post-completion matters such as Land Registry applications, requisitions and Stamp Duty Land Tax formalities. The role requires someone who is confident working independently and able to manage files unsupervised whilst maintaining exceptional client care throughout.

Duties will include:

• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload in compliance with the firm’s policies, procedures and controls
• Achieving agreed billing and time recording targets
• Taking responsibility for credit control on your own matters alongside the bookkeeper
• Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and professional conduct requirements
• Maintaining clear communication with colleagues, clients and external organisations
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, agents and third parties
• Undertaking ongoing training and professional development, whilst assisting with in-house training where required

Initially, the role will involve working independently, including carrying out your own typing. However, depending on workload and performance, secretarial support may be considered.
