Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer to join a successful residential conveyancing department based in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. This is a permanent Residential Conveyancer job available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible working, hybrid working and remote working available, requiring 3 days in the office for a 5-day working week. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Residential Conveyancer will join a large, established and highly regarded Residential Property team in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. This Residential Conveyancer job will suit someone confident managing a varied caseload while delivering excellent client care throughout each transaction.

Specific duties will include:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of residential property sales, purchases and Buy to Let transactions
  • Handling leasehold matters, help to buy and right to buy schemes, new build sales and purchases, mortgages, remortgages, shared ownership, affordable housing and transfer of equity matters
  • Providing clear, effective communication and excellent customer care to clients at every stage of their conveyancing transaction
  • Taking an active part in business development, professional relationship building and supporting the growth of the residential conveyancing client base

Person Specification

Applications are sought from experienced Residential Conveyancers, Residential Property Solicitors, Legal Executives and Licenced Conveyancers with strong residential conveyancing experience. Non-qualified Residential Conveyancers will also be considered where they can demonstrate the required fee earning experience.

You will also have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fee earning residential conveyancing job
  • Prior experience managing a busy and varied residential property caseload
  • Knowledge of freehold, leasehold and new build transactions, including reviewing TP1s
  • Experience using the Land Registry Portal and lender portals
  • Experience of purchases through corporate entities, which would be beneficial
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build professional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
