Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a long-established, CQS-accredited law firm based in Middlesbrough, Teesside. This is a permanent, full-time job with hybrid and remote working options (2 days from home), offering a competitive salary between £38,000 and £45,000 with 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays rising to 30 with service. Role Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Residential Conveyancer to join a busy and successful conveyancing team in Middlesbrough, Teesside. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload from instruction through to post-completion with minimal supervision.
- Handling a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, leasehold and freehold, and Right to Buy transactions.
- Managing client relationships by providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the transaction.
- Attending clients to provide quotations, take instructions and deliver excellent service.
- Working independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prioritising a busy workload, working to deadlines and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
The successful Residential Conveyancer, whether a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licenced Conveyancer or highly experienced Fee Earner, will be confident in running their own caseload of sale and purchase files independently. You will enjoy a collaborative working environment in a supportive team, with flexibility over your working hours and a clear path to career advancement.
Person Specification
Applications are welcomed from experienced Residential Conveyancers including Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licenced Conveyancers or those qualified through experience, who can manage files with minimal supervision. You will have:
- Proven experience handling your own caseload of residential property matters.
- Sound knowledge of freehold and leasehold conveyancing processes.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive, professional approach with the ability to handle a high-volume workload efficiently.
- Commercial property experience or an interest in branching into this area is a bonus but not essential.
Those with ambitions to move into management and leadership will be well supported, with a future opportunity to step into a Deputy Head of Conveyancing position.
