Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a highly successful, award-winning Residential Conveyancing team based in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, or in the firms Middlesbrough office. This is a permanent job that can be worked on a full-time or part-time basis. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Residential Conveyancer will play a key part in the firm’s well-established residential property team, based in their busy Saltburn-by-the-sea or the Middlesbrough office. You will work in a friendly and professional team environment, managing your own caseload with full support from experienced colleagues and administration staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, Buy-to-Let, leasehold, help-to-buy, new builds, shared ownership, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Ensuring excellent client care and communication throughout each stage of the transaction.
- Using the Land Registry and lender portals for submissions and case progressions.
- Delivering high standards of legal advice while working to compliance and risk management protocols.
Person Specification
This job will suit an experienced Conveyancer, Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer with a proven track record of running their own caseload independently. The ideal applicant will bring:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload (although those with demonstrable equivalent experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong working knowledge of Freehold and Leasehold law, new builds and affordable housing schemes.
- Experience using legal case management systems and digital portals.
- High levels of professionalism, organisation, and communication skills.
- A client-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
