Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-regarded and supportive conveyancing team based in Yarm, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent, full-time job offering a highly competitive salary of up to £40,000, hybrid working, and an exceptional bonus scheme offering 25% of all billings above target. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Residential Conveyancer will manage their own caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion within a cohesive and approachable team. Work is referred via panel introducers and well-established local relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Handling a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and shared ownership transactions.
  • Managing files independently using a strong case management system.
  • Maintaining regular and professional client communication throughout the transaction.
  • Dealing with post-completion and registration matters as required.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in a department with excellent support and leadership.

Person Specification

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Licenced Conveyancers, Legal Executives or experienced Conveyancers with a strong background in residential property law. The successful Residential Conveyancer will:

  • Be confident in handling their own caseload from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be comfortable working independently with the support of a robust case management system.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and efficient approach, with a strong commitment to client service.
  • Be looking to join a collaborative and flexible team where they are trusted to deliver results.
