Eventus Legal are seeking a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer with experience in residential conveyancing to join a successful team based in Sunderland, due to expansion. The successful candidate will be working with excellent administration support, great benefits including hybrid working, free parking, 27 days holiday plus Christmas Eve & Christmas and genuine support and commitment to progression. The role is a full-time, permanent position.
Role responsibilities
The incoming Residential Conveyancer will join a well-established residential team in the successful Sunderland office and is an additional role. The team have an excellent reputation and prides itself upon its ability to deliver a first-class service their clients.
Specific duties will include:
- Managing a mixed case load of sale, purchase and Buy to Let residential properties, leasehold matters, help and right to buy schemes, new build property purchase and sales, mortgages/re-mortgages, shared ownership and affordable housing, and transfer of equity.
- Providing effective communication and excellent customer care to clients at each stage of their journey.
- Involvement with marketing and business development as well as maintaining the relationships with their current contacts and referral network.

Person specification
Applications are sought from Solicitors or Legal Executives or Licenced Conveyancers who are experienced in running their own, varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
Alongside your sound experience you will work loyally and effectively as part of their team, utilising your excellent interpersonal skills interacting with people at all levels, inspiring confidence in both clients and your colleagues.
