Eventus Legal are seeking a qualified Residential Conveyancer to join a successful multi-office Law firm within commutable distance from Buckingham. This is a permanent, full-time role. Hybrid working of 4 days in the office and 1 at home is allowed after successful completion of probation, as well as medical insurance and 28 days annual leave.  

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Residential conveyancer will be responsible for:

  • Managing an active caseload of between 50 and 70 residential property matters.
  • Handling approximately 4.5 completions per week.
  • Developing relationships with local estate agents.
  • Proactively contributing to the growth and development of the conveyancing department.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Department to implement strategies for success. 

Person Specification

The incoming Residential Conveyancer will have a MINIMUM of 5 years’ experience working directly within a Residential Conveyancing department and be able to manage a whole transaction to include HNW clients. In addition, you will have excellent generic property knowledge and have the desire to be part of the senior team to develop an office further. Importantly, the successful candidate will also be able to display:

  • Good interpersonal skills in order to be able to speak to clients both on the phone but also in person and to deal with written correspondence.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales
  • Attention to detail
  • Client Care and empathy
