Eventus Recruitment is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Residential Property Conveyancer for a permanent, full-time position based in Tunbridge Wells. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly reputable law firm. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Conveyancer will be responsible for managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing files while contributing to the continued growth of the department.

The day-to-day job duties within this role include:

  • Managing a caseload of residential property transactions including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, and land matters
  • Regular liaison with estate agents, financial advisors, and clients
  • Clearly explaining legal procedures and updates to clients
  • Overseeing financial management, billing, and cashflow on all files
  • Providing accurate and timely quotations
  • Meeting billing, cost recovery, and time recording targets
  • Building strong client relationships and maintaining high levels of client service
  • Participating in networking and marketing events to support business development
  • Assisting in occasional commercial property matters if needed (desirable but not essential)

Person Specification

The successful Residential Property Conveyancer will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 1 year of PQE in property law. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Confidence in managing multiple matters and meeting deadlines
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to embrace new technology and learn new systems
  • Commercial property experience would be an advantage, but not essential
