Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a highly successful, award-winning Residential Conveyancing team in Spennymoor. This is a permanent job that is offered on a full or part-time basis. The successful Residential Conveyancer will be rewarded with great benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking, hybrid working (1-2 days remote per week) and performance-related bonus.
Role responsibilities
The incoming Residential Conveyancer will join a large and well-established residential team in the successful Spennymoor office, and is an additional role. The team have an excellent reputation and prides itself upon its ability to deliver a first-class service their clients.
Specific duties will include:
- Managing a mixed case load of sale, purchase and Buy to Let residential properties, leasehold matters, help and right to buy schemes, new build property purchase and sales, mortgages/re-mortgages, shared ownership and affordable housing, and transfer of equity.
- Providing effective communication and excellent customer care to clients at each stage of their journey.
Person specification
Applications are sought from experienced Conveyancers, Solicitors, Legal Executives and Licenced Conveyancers, ideally those with at least 2 years of managing their own caseload although applications who can demonstrate the requisite experience through alternative means are encouraged to apply. You will also have:
- Prior experience of managing a busy and varied residential property caseload
- Knowledge of the legal aspects of residential transactions, including Freehold and Leasehold, new build transactions including reviewing TP1s, and using the Land Registry Portal and lender portals would be advantageous
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills
