Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Fee Earner to join a law firm based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. This is a permanent, full-time job, although part-time working will be considered. Other benefits include a 23-day holiday allowance (rising with service) and genuine support with development.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Fee earner will be responsible for managing a full caseload from instruction to legal completion, in addition to building and maintaining excellent client relationships and working effectively as part of a team. Other duties include:

• Achievement of agreed levels of billing, time recording and other agreed key performance indicators
• Progression of all client work in a timely manner, keeping the client regularly informed on progress and on costs
• Responsible for credit control on own matters with the guidance and support of the accounts team

Person Specification 

Applications are sought from Residential Conveyancing Solicitors or Fee Earners with experience in dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing matters. You will also:

• Show a keen eye for detail
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales
• Good I.T skills
