Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join a successful law firm based in Gateshead. This is a permanent, full-time position. The firm offers fantastic benefits including a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance and free on-site parking.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Residential Conveyancer will confidently manage a full varied caseload, under minimal supervision. The caseload will consist of files ranging from but not limited to:

• Leasehold sales and purchase transactions.
• New builds.
• Auctions.
• Lease extensions.
• Rent charges.
• Deeds of variation.
• Transfer of equity.
• Re-mortgages.
• Good knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations.

This role is based in the law firm’s Gateshead office but you may be required to travel to other offices where required on occasion.

Person Specification

The successful Residential Conveyancer will have excellent knowledge and experience within residential matters. Importantly, the candidate will also be able to display:

• Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated.
• A team player.
• Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales.
• Attention to detail.
