Eventus Legal are seeking a Residential Property Conveyancer to join a growing, award-winning law firm in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent job opportunity based in the firm's Sheffield office for an experienced conveyancing professional with at least three years' post-qualification experience. The successful Residential Property Conveyancer will join an established residential property department, manage a varied caseload with dedicated paralegal or team support, benefit from a salary up to £55,000, flexible working, Westfield Health, 25 days annual leave, Christmas office closure, genuine structured career development and modern legal technology whilst working within a collaborative, friendly and client-focused environment.

Role Responsibilities

This Residential Property Conveyancer job offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied residential conveyancing caseload while contributing to the continued development of an established property team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a residential property caseload from initial instruction through to completion
  • Handling multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, deadlines and high standards of client care
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with clients, agents, lenders and other stakeholders throughout transactions
  • Using modern legal technology and case management processes to support efficient file progression and a positive client experience
  • Providing technical support and guidance to junior members of the residential property team
  • Working effectively with the dedicated paralegal or small team supporting your caseload
  • Collaborating with the Head of Residential Property to support the department's continued growth and success

Person Specification

Applications are welcomed from experienced residential property professionals who are confident running their own caseload and providing a consistently high level of service. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least three years' post-qualification experience in residential property conveyancing
  • Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or a similar relevant professional qualification
  • Strong practical experience of managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple live transactions
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • A proactive and organised working style with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
  • Confidence supporting and sharing technical knowledge with more junior colleagues
