Eventus Legal are seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor, 1-3 years PQE, to join a progressive regional law firm in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This is a full time, permanent job offering a salary of £50,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with two days remote working from home each week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas leave days, performance related bonus, health care scheme, and career development including structured learning and development opportunities. You will join a growing specialist Real Estate Disputes team handling high quality work for national and regional clients. 

Role Responsibilities 

This Property Litigation Solicitor job in Tunbridge Wells, Kent offers a varied caseload within a specialist Real Estate Disputes team, with exposure to complex and high value contentious property matters. Key responsibilities will include: 

• Managing a broad caseload of commercial landlord and tenant disputes, property related insolvency matters and development disputes 

• Advising commercial landlords and tenants, developers, landowners and insolvency practitioners on strategic and commercially focused solutions 

• Working closely with experienced lawyers across the Real Estate Disputes team on complex matters 

• Collaborating with transactional real estate colleagues to provide a joined up service to clients 

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, practical and responsive advice 

• Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued growth and development of the department 

Person Specification 

Applications are welcome from candidates within a commutable distance of Tunbridge Wells, Kent who are qualified Solicitors, ideally 1-3 years PQE, with a strong grounding in contentious property work, particularly landlord and tenant matters. You should also be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Strong experience in landlord and tenant law and real estate disputes 

• A commercial and practical approach to resolving disputes 

• Excellent client facing skills and the ability to build lasting professional relationships 

• A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a specialist team 

• The confidence to manage a varied caseload while working closely with senior lawyers and colleagues across the wider real estate practice
