Eventus Legal are seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm on a permanent, full-time basis in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join a collaborative Dispute Resolution team handling a broad range of residential and commercial property disputes.

Role Responsibilities:
- Handling a varied caseload of commercial and residential property disputes from instruction through to resolution
- Providing strategic advice to landlords, tenants, developers and private clients on contentious property matters
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation relating to disputed property issues and tenancy arrangements
- Conducting negotiations and supporting clients through settlement discussions and alternative dispute resolution processes
- Managing court procedures, preparing litigation documents and progressing matters in accordance with procedural deadlines
- Advising clients on disputes involving occupation rights, access issues and property ownership concerns
- Working closely with colleagues across other departments to provide joined-up legal solutions for clients
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through responsive and commercially focused advice
- Supporting networking and business development activities to help strengthen the department’s market presence
- Ensuring files are managed efficiently with a strong focus on client care, compliance and financial performance
Person Specification
The successful Property Litigation Solicitor will have previous experience handling a broad range of residential and commercial property disputes and will be confident managing their own caseload independently with a strong working understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and the litigation process.
In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
- Previous experience within residential and commercial property litigation
- Strong technical knowledge of landlord and tenant law and contentious property matters
- A solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process
- Experience of alternative dispute resolution including mediation
