Job Responsibilities

This Property Litigation Paralegal job offers exposure to a broad range of Property Litigation and Dispute Resolution matters, working closely with experienced lawyers within a supportive team environment.

The day-to-day duties within this Property Litigation Paralegal job are likely to include:

  • Assisting with a varied caseload of Property Litigation matters.
  • Handling landlord and tenant disputes, neighbour disputes and wider property-related disputes.
  • Supporting possession proceedings, rent arrears matters and lease renewal disputes.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court documentation.
  • Preparing hearing bundles and case papers.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, counsel and third parties.
  • Supporting matters from instruction through to resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating the case management system.

Person Specification

The successful Property Litigation Paralegal joining this firm in Chester will have previous litigation experience and be looking to build upon their knowledge within Property Litigation. Applications are welcomed from experienced Paralegals as well as Newly Qualified Solicitors with relevant Property Litigation, Civil Litigation or Dispute Resolution experience.

The successful Property Litigation Paralegal will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience within Property Litigation, Civil Litigation or Dispute Resolution.
  • An understanding of landlord and tenant matters would be advantageous.
  • Experience drafting legal documents and client correspondence.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client care skills with a professional and proactive approach.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
