Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join a Legal 500 law firm in Northwich, Cheshire. This is a full-time, permanent job offering a salary up to £60,000 depending on experience, together with benefits including free onsite parking, pension, a birthday day off, paid sick leave and a Christmas shutdown period.
This Private Client Solicitor job in Northwich offers the opportunity to join a Legal 500 practice that has built an excellent reputation for client care and quality legal advice. The successful Private Client Solicitor will join a collaborative team handling a broad range of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. This job would suit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who enjoys building lasting client relationships and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. Whilst the firm would ideally like to attract candidates with significant private client experience, they are open to considering individuals with lower levels of PQE who can demonstrate technical ability and commitment to client care.
Job Responsibilities
The successful Senior Private Client Solicitor in Northwich will manage a varied caseload of private client matters whilst contributing to the continued success of the department. The day-to-day duties within this Senior Private Client Solicitor job include:
• Managing a caseload of Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters.
• Advising clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Handling Court of Protection and Deputyship matters where appropriate.
• Advising clients on a range of services for the elderly.
• Maintaining efficient file management in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Achieving agreed fee earning and time recording targets.
• Participating in business development and marketing activities.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the Private Client team.
• Assisting with maintaining the firm's Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme accreditation.
Person Specification
The successful Senior Private Client Solicitor will ideally have around 10 years' PQE, although applications are welcomed from candidates with differing levels of experience who can demonstrate the right skills and experience.
In addition, the successful Private Client Solicitor will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Experience handling Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney matters.
• Experience of Court of Protection and Deputyship matters would be advantageous.
• STEP qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
