Private Client Solicitor / Fee Earner

Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor, Legal Executive or Fee Earner to join a highly regarded and growing private client team in Bedfordshire.

The Role

You will manage a varied and interesting caseload covering:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration from instruction through to distribution
• Trusts and tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship matters
• Court of Protection applications
• Advising elderly and vulnerable clients
• Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax matters
• Deeds of Variation and tax mitigation advice

You will also have the opportunity to become involved in business development initiatives, helping to further grow an already successful private client offering.

About You

Applications are welcomed from Private Client Solicitors, Legal Executives and experienced Fee Earners who possess:

• Strong experience handling a broad private client caseload independently
• Excellent client care and relationship-building skills
• A commercial and proactive approach
• Confidence managing probate matters from start to finish
• Experience with trusts, LPAs and estate planning
• An interest in business development and networking

Experience of Court of Protection work, social care funding matters or membership of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers would be advantageous but is not essential.
