Eventus Legal are seeking a Junior Private Client Solicitor to join the Wills, Trust & Probate department of a highly reputable law firm based in the South Lakes. This is a permanent position, available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexible and hybrid working. About the Role

The incoming Private Client Solicitor will assist with and develop a caseload of Wills, Trusts and Probate matters, working closely with an experienced and collaborative team based in the Kendal office. The role also involves:

  • Assisting with and progressing matters including Wills, probate and estate administration, with supervision and support
  • Taking instructions from clients and providing a professional and empathetic level of client care
  • Drafting Wills, LPAs, probate documentation and related correspondence for review
  • Managing files accurately and compliantly in line with SRA and firm procedures
  • Working collaboratively within the Private Client team to support colleagues and develop technical expertise
  • Building long-term client relationships while developing your own knowledge and skills

 

About You

The ideal candidate will be a junior solicitor looking to build a long-term career in Private Client law and demonstrate the following:

  • NQ to 1 year PQE, or experience within a Private Client team
  • Strong client care skills with a sensitive and professional approach
  • Ability to manage a caseload with appropriate supervision
  • A genuine interest in developing within Wills, Trusts and Probate
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and team-focused attitude
  • Willingness to travel to other offices or attend client meetings where required

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Exposure to estate administration, Wills or LPAs
  • Experience working with elderly or vulnerable clients
