Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join a progressive and close-knit law firm based in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, or one of their other North Yorkshire offices. This is a permanent job with full flexibility, including hybrid and remote working, part-time hours, and control over your diary. Role Responsibilities
This Private Client Solicitor job offers the chance to work within an experienced and friendly team, managing a diverse caseload with excellent support. You’ll be stepping into a position made available by the planned retirement of two long-standing senior lawyers and will join an established team of experienced private client solicitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling a full private client caseload including wills, probate, estate planning, LPAs, and tax and trust matters
- Advising on complex inheritance tax and trust structures with high-net-worth clients
- Running files independently from initial instruction through to billing
- Supporting collaborative working practices and maintaining a team-spirited culture
- Contributing to business development and client retention through excellent service
Person Specification
This job is perfect for a Private Client Solicitor who values flexibility, team support, and a high-trust environment. You will be capable of handling files independently, with the confidence to make informed decisions and offer practical legal solutions.
- Minimum 3 years PQE in Private Client law (experience in tax and trusts strongly preferred)
- STEP qualification is advantageous; support will be offered to gain the qualification
- Able to manage your own files from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset
- Comfortable working in one of their North Yorkshire offices, along with hybrid/remote working (including part-time options)
