Eventus Recruitment is seeking a qualified Private Client Solicitor, or CILEX Legal Executive, to join a reputable and long-established high street law firm based in Maidstone. This is a full-time, permanent role within a supportive and friendly working environment. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive will play a pivotal role in the probate department, managing a varied caseload and contributing to the firm’s continued success.
The day-to-day job duties within this role include:
- Handling the full spectrum of private client matters including Wills, Probate, LPAs, and Tax Planning
- Advising a diverse client base, including a significant number of agricultural clients
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to post-completion
- Attending networking and client-facing events such as Law Society functions.
- Participating in marketing initiatives and fostering relationships with both new and existing clients
- Working from the office full-time initially to complete supervision requirements, with future hybrid working flexibility
Person Specification
The successful Private Client Solicitor or CILEX Legal Executive will have strong experience in private client work and be confident managing their own caseload with minimal supervision. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Experience in estate administration, wills, LPAs, and tax planning
- Strong client care and interpersonal skills, particularly with agricultural or high-net-worth clients
- Enthusiasm for business development and attending local events
- Collaborative, proactive and eager to be involved in the wider life of the firm
- Willingness to be office-based initially and engage with the firm's mentoring and supervision structure
