Eventus Recruitment is working with a single site law firm in Farnham, Surrey to recruit an additional Private Client Solicitor, approx. 5-8 years’ PQE, to their team due to growth and expansion on a permanent full-time basis. The firm has an established client base in the South of England, which provides a regular flow of new business through warm referrals. This has created an opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join the team. Role Responsibilities
The incoming Private Client Solicitor will be responsible for working with clients to produce positive outcomes for their individual needs within a close-knit team environment. Note that this role is non-contentious focused and would suit candidates that seek this.
The day-to-day job duties within this role include:
- Drafting and advising on wills.
- Establishing and administering trusts.
- Providing strategic advice on estate planning.
- Probate and estate administration.
- Lasting powers of attorney (LPAs).
- Inheritance tax (IHT) and tax planning.
Person Specification
The successful Private Client Solicitor will be a qualified solicitor and have in the region of 5-8 years’ PQE within private client matters. You will need to be able to provide excellent advice and customer service to your clients and have a collaborative team working ethos. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:
- Qualified Solicitor with strong experience within the full range of non-contentious private client cases.
- High level of technical ability to resolve complex questions and queries.
- Ability to engage and communicate with clients effectively.
- Career orientated and ambitious.
- Forward-thinking regarding systems, training, communication methods, and client servicing.
- Innovative approach to client services and file management.
- Proclaim case management experience would be beneficial, however not essential.
