Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a successful team based in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. The successful Private Client Solicitor will be working alongside a team of circa 7, with secretarial support. This is a permanent job offered either on a full-time, part-time or term-time only basis.
Role responsibilities
The incoming Private Client Solicitor will be expected to a varied case load covering Wills, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Trusts, Estate Planning and Estate Administration.
The law firm enjoy a wide range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, business owners and agricultural clients. You will benefit from secretarial and paralegal support.
Person specification
We are actively encouraging all Private Client Solicitors or Legal Executives to apply provided you have the necessary experience and technical knowledge for the role.
You must have strong technical skills with a wide range of private client experience with the ability to independently manage a varied case load covering all areas outlined above. Experience of dealing with high net worth, farming and business clients and taxes would be desirable, although not essential. You will have excellent client care skills and an empathetic approach. STEP Qualification (or working towards it) would be desirable but not essential. Full support will be given for this.
You will also:
- Have enthusiasm and confidence for business development and marketing
- Be able to take a proactive role in initiatives and opportunities to maintain and grow the firm’s client base
- Be able to collaborate with other departments in the firm and develop new relationships with third party referrers
