Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join a successful law firm based in Lincoln. This is a permanent, full-time role. Benefits include a generous holiday allowance, hybrid working, continuous training, development, and progression opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will represent clients in a broad range of matters. You will be responsible for providing legal advice.

Key Responsibilities:

This private client position is suited to a confident legal professional with first class interpersonal and motivational skills and the passion to help drive the Firm forwards. As the successful Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a full caseload whilst offering support to the overall team and partners where required.

The caseload will consist of files ranging from not limited to:

  • Wills.
  • Executry administration including advising on tax paying estates.
  • Tax Planning, including advice on available reliefs.
  • Asset protection including the creation of Trusts.
  • Trust management.
  • AWI issues such as Powers of Attorney and Guardianships.

Additional day-to-day duties would include:

  • Delegating work as appropriate to more junior members of staff and supervising that work = and offering guidance where appropriate) – to ensure the quality of work produced by the private client department is of the highest standard.
  • Processing stakeholder enquiries promptly to ensure that all business opportunities are dealt with professionally and to the satisfaction of the client or enquirer.

Person Specification 

The incoming Private Client Solicitor will be a confident professional with first class interpersonal and motivational skills and the passion to help drive the Firm forward.  Importantly, the successful legal professional will need the following:

  • Be an experienced Private Client Solicitor with a proven track record of working in a Private Client department.
  • Have a strong desire to network and help the firm grow.
  • Be self-motivated and able to organise their own workload.
  • Have a strong work ethic, good time management skills and a flexible approach to work.
