Private Client Senior Associate

Eventus Legal are seeking a Senior Associate to join a specialist private client law firm in Coventry, West Midlands. This is a full-time, permanent job position offering hybrid working, with an expectation of at least three days in the office each week for a five-day working pattern. Role Responsibilities 

This Senior Associate position will involve high-quality, non-contentious private client work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary practice. The work will be shaped by your existing expertise and the needs of the firm's sophisticated client base. Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Advising high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on complex private client matters 

  • Handling non-contentious private client work, with opportunities to advise across estate planning, Wills, trusts and estate administration according to experience 

  • Working on matters involving complex family wealth, including cases with international or cross-border aspects 

  • Contributing to the firm's family office offering, working collaboratively with legal and tax specialists to provide an all-round service to wealthy families 

  • Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and providing clear, practical and technically strong advice 

  • Working collaboratively across the wider private client and tax teams on matters requiring a multi-disciplinary approach 

  • Supporting the continued development and growth of the specialist private client practice 

Person Specification 

The firm is looking for an experienced private client lawyer who combines strong technical knowledge with a collaborative and client-focused approach. You should also be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Significant experience in non-contentious private client work at a level appropriate for a Senior Associate position 

  • Strong technical knowledge across your area of private client specialism 

  • Experience advising high-net-worth clients or dealing with complex private client matters 

  • The ability to manage matters independently while working effectively with colleagues across different specialisms 

  • Excellent client care and communication skills, with the confidence to build lasting relationships with individuals and families 

  • A commitment to continued professional development and keeping technical knowledge current 

  • A collaborative approach and an interest in contributing to the wider development and success of the firm
