Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Partner to join a growing and highly respected law firm in Chester, Cheshire. Due to continued growth and expansion plans, the firm are keen to appoint an experienced and technically strong Private Client Partner to further strengthen their established private client team. Job Responsibilities
This Private Client Partner job in Chester will involve joining the firm’s largest department and leading one of their established teams. The successful Private Client Partner will play a key role in supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members whilst handling complex and high-quality private client matters.
The day-to-day duties within this Private Client Partner job include:
- Managing a varied caseload of complex private client matters
- Advising on trusts, estate planning, tax planning and probate matters
- Handling more technical private client work including care fee planning and high-net-worth estate matters
- Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff
- Assisting with the continued growth and development of the private client department
- Supporting networking and business development activities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with business development
Person Specification
This Private Client Partner job in Chester would suit an experienced and technically strong Private Client Solicitor who is confident working independently whilst also developing and supporting others within the team. The successful Private Client Partner will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant private client experience
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, trusts, probate, tax and estate planning matters
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills
- Commercial awareness with an interest in networking and business development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team culture
- Interest in complex private client work and long-term departmental growth
- A proactive and positive approach with strong communication skills
- Strong technical experience with tax, trusts and more complex private client matters
