Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Wills, Trust & Probate Fee Earner to join a highly regarded law firm on a permanent basis in the South Lakes, with flexible office locations across the South Lakes including Kendal and Windermere.  This job vacancy offers full-time or part-time working, flexible and hybrid arrangements and a competitive salary from £30,000+. About the Job

This Wills, Trust & Probate Lawyer job offers the opportunity to manage a varied and rewarding private client caseload within a collaborative and supportive team. You will handle a broad range of matters while building strong, long-term relationships with clients across the South Lakes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on will drafting, tax planning and estate administration
  • Managing probate matters from instruction through to completion
  • Handling the creation, administration and taxation of trusts including lifetime and will trusts
  • Advising on powers of attorney and elderly client matters
  • Liaising directly with clients, their families, carers and third parties such as medical professionals
  • Delivering a high standard of client care with a sensitive and professional approach
  • Supporting the continued growth and development of the private client team

 

About You

This opportunity would suit a Wills, Trust & Probate Lawyer who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering clear, empathetic advice on often sensitive matters. You will be confident managing your own caseload while maintaining a high standard of client care.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least 1 year PQE within wills, trusts and probate
  • Experience handling estate administration and drafting wills
  • Knowledge of trusts including creation, administration and taxation
  • Understanding of powers of attorney and elderly client matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and prioritise workload
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team
