Eventus Legal are seeking a Post Completions Assistant to join a growing and supportive law firm based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a permanent job available on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 3 days), offering a salary up to 27,000, hybrid working (one day from home following probation), and excellent benefits including wellbeing support and career development opportunities. About the Job

This Post Completions Assistant job focuses on managing residential conveyancing matters from completion through to registration within a busy and well-established team. You will work across a range of transaction types including leasehold, shared ownership, new build, and right to buy, ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with required standards.

The Post Completions Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and supporting the wider team while delivering a high standard of client service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing files from completion through to registration
• Preparing and submitting applications to HM Land Registry
• Responding to requisitions and ensuring timely resolution
• Maintaining accurate file records and updating internal systems and portals
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
• Reviewing accounts ledgers and supporting file closure
• Supporting junior team members where required

About You

If you are a detail-focused individual with experience in post completion work within residential conveyancing this job is an excellent opportunity. You will be confident managing your own workload while maintaining accuracy and providing a high standard of client care in a fast-paced environment.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience handling post completion work including registrations and requisitions
• Understanding of the conveyancing process from completion through to registration
• Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills when liaising with clients, colleagues, and external parties
• Experience using case management systems such as Proclaim or similar
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A proactive and team-focused approach
