The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking a Senior Solicitor to join the Private Client team as a Partner of this highly reputable Legal 500 law firm in Chester. This is a full-time permanent job working on a varied caseload of private client matters, with an emphasis on estate administration. About the Role
The incoming Private Client Partner will undertake the full spectrum of private client work including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administrations and Trusts. The role also involves:
- Supervising other fee earners in the team as required, including during periods of absence or holiday
- Playing an active role in business development and marketing activities across the group and wider firm
- Preparing correspondence and documents through the case management system and maintaining organised paper and electronic files
- Attending client meetings both in person and over the phone, providing professional and personable service in line with client care standards
- Attending and contributing to internal group meetings
About You
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive. Ideally with a minimum of 10 years’ PQE, with significant exposure to probate work and demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to manage a broad private client caseload independently
- Consistent achievement of billing and time recording targets
- Leadership capability, with experience of supervising junior colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly when dealing with sensitive client matters
- A proactive and collaborative approach to developing new business
- Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to file management
You will also have an existing client following or strong referrer network within the Chester area.
