Eventus Recruitment are seeking a career Paraplanner to join a successful IFA business based in Manchester City Centre. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving well-established company looking to bring their Paraplanner team back in house. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Paraplanner will have previous experience and strong pension knowledge due to large volume of retirement planning work. Key tasks will include:

• Accurately prepare suitability reports and letters to target deadlines.
• Ensure all client work is compliant and supported with relevant paperwork.
• Undertake comparative research in preparation of client recommendations.
• Complete technical research as part of the existing arrangement review process.
• Understand clients overall financial position from IFA fact finds.
• Discuss client objectives with the relevant IFA, identifying and obtaining necessary client information to prepare the necessary suitability checks.
• Ensure all client queries are appropriately investigated and accurate responses given.
• Conduct annual reviews in line with SLAs.
• Working closely with 2 advisers.
• Providing support with preparation of new business reports and annual suitability review letters.

Person Specification

The successful Paraplanner will ideally have experience of intelligent office and FE analytics. You will also have:

• Minimum Diploma Level 4 and ideally Chartered - or willingness to work towards Chartered – paid for by company.
• Excellent pensions knowledge.
• Experience of using a cashflow planning tool / software.
• Comfortable working in a small team.
