Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Paraplanner / Senior Paraplanner for a well-established wealth management practice in Knutsford, Cheshire. This is a full-time, permanent role paying £45,000 with a 5% employer pension, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a discretionary bonus and genuine study support. Based in the firm's Knutsford office with hybrid working, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, this is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced paraplanner who wants real ownership of the technical work and a progression pathway built around them. You'll be the technical backbone of a well-run practice that is known for strong client service and that genuinely backs its people to develop.
About the Role
As the incoming Paraplanner, you'll take full ownership of the written advice and client files that sit behind every recommendation. Working closely with the advisers and the practice manager, you'll be the technical engine of the practice, trusted to get the documentation right and to keep client work moving. This is a senior-level role with real responsibility and variety, not a production line.
Key responsibilities include:

- Analysing client requirements and building and updating cash flow models
- Researching financial products and constructing financial planning solutions
- Taking full responsibility for client files and back-office records throughout the advice process
- Preparing client reviews, investment performance reviews, analytics and external plan summaries
- Supporting advisers and colleagues on documentation quality and standards
- Attending client meetings alongside the Partner and handling client queries
- Processing applications and submissions and keeping management information accurate
- Progressing cases with ceding schemes and third parties through to completion
About You
This role will suit an experienced paraplanner who takes personal ownership of quality and works well under pressure. With at least two years behind you in a financial planning practice, you'll be confident running the technical work with minimal supervision. A calm, organised approach and a genuine interest in developing yourself and those around you will serve you well here.
You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least two years' paraplanning experience within an IFA or wealth management practice
- Experience of the pension transfer market
- Confidence with major research and cash flow tools such as analytics and Voyant
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or working towards it
- Strong report writing, numeracy and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Alongside a salary of £45,000 depending, the practice offers a supportive, well-run environment and the following:
- Salary of circa £45,000 depending on experience
- 5% employer pension contribution
- Discretionary bonus
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Genuine study support and an individual progression pathway
- Hybrid working, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
