Eventus Recruitment are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a highly regarded Financial Planning business based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time Paraplanner job working Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with flexible start and finish times, alongside hybrid working of 2–3 days in the office in Wilmslow, Cheshire and 2–3 days working from home. This Paraplanner job offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and people-focused Financial Planning team, delivering high-quality lifetime financial planning support. Job Responsibilities
This Paraplanner job plays a central part in delivering high-quality financial planning support and ensuring excellent client outcomes. The incoming Paraplanner will work closely with Financial Planners and administrative teams to build and maintain detailed financial plans for a portfolio of clients.
- Producing detailed cashflow forecasting and financial planning analysis to support client recommendations
- Analysing client financial positions, including assets, liabilities and future objectives
- Preparing suitability reports that clearly explain recommendations in a concise and client-friendly manner
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of holistic financial planning strategies
- Maintaining and updating client financial plans to ensure ongoing suitability
- Assisting with annual reviews and ensuring all follow-up actions are completed efficiently
- Liaising with clients via telephone, email and in meetings where appropriate
- Collaborating with Financial Planners and back-office teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Supporting with application queries and ensuring cases are progressed efficiently
- Contributing to a team-based approach to client relationship management
- Ensuring all work complies with regulatory and internal standards

- Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within a Financial Planning environment
- Strong knowledge of financial planning products and services
- Experience producing suitability reports and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to a wider team
- A proactive and curious approach to problem-solving
- Progression towards or desire to achieve Chartered status is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with both office and remote working
