Job Responsibilities:

  • In this Paraplanner job, you will support Financial Planners in delivering clear, tailored and thoughtful financial planning. Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing high-quality, client-friendly suitability reports.
  • Conducting thorough research across products, funds and providers.
  • Producing comprehensive cash flow modelling using Truth to support lifetime planning.
  • Attending client meetings when appropriate to help clarify planning recommendations.
  • Working closely with Financial Planners to refine strategies and ensure advice is appropriate and compliant.
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with the enhancement of planning processes as the business grows.

Person Specification:

The incoming Paraplanner will be a proactive, detail-driven Financial Planning professional. You are likely to bring:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • A desire to progress towards Chartered status.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
  • Confidence and accuracy in cash flow modelling.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • A collaborative, positive mindset and an enjoyment of team-based problem solving.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with a commitment to high standards.
