Job Responsibilities:
- In this Paraplanner job, you will support Financial Planners in delivering clear, tailored and thoughtful financial planning. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing high-quality, client-friendly suitability reports.
- Conducting thorough research across products, funds and providers.
- Producing comprehensive cash flow modelling using Truth to support lifetime planning.
- Attending client meetings when appropriate to help clarify planning recommendations.
- Working closely with Financial Planners to refine strategies and ensure advice is appropriate and compliant.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with the enhancement of planning processes as the business grows.
Person Specification:
The incoming Paraplanner will be a proactive, detail-driven Financial Planning professional. You are likely to bring:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- A desire to progress towards Chartered status.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
- Confidence and accuracy in cash flow modelling.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- A collaborative, positive mindset and an enjoyment of team-based problem solving.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with a commitment to high standards.
