Eventus Recruitment are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a Financial Planning business based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time Paraplanner job offering a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits including hybrid and remote working options. This Paraplanner job has arisen due to the firm’s growth plans, making it a fantastic opportunity to join an established and successful Financial Planning practice. Job Responsibilities:
The Paraplanner will support the Financial Planners in providing, implementing and reviewing tailored advice and strategies for clients. This will include monitoring and reporting on a variety of financial products.
Other responsibilities within this Paraplanner / Financial Planning job include:

Supporting Consultants in preparing accurate financial plans and suitability reports.

Attending client meetings with Advisers.

Supporting Advisers with research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.

Developing a full understanding of Holistic Financial Planning (Lifestyle Planning).

Dealing with all aspects of advice such as Inheritance Tax Planning and Trusts.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to achieve agreed outcomes.

Managing workflow and delivery effectively to meet tight deadlines.

Providing technical guidance to the Client Services Team (CST) and assisting with compliance queries.

Ensuring advice is implemented accurately and compliantly.

Undertaking continuous professional development to meet regulatory and personal development requirements.
Person Specification
The incoming Paraplanner will bring a blend of technical expertise, professional qualifications and interpersonal skills. Essential qualities include:

Strong knowledge of the financial planning process and suitability reporting.

Excellent report writing and cashflow forecasting experience.

Confidence and credibility when attending client meetings.
-
Experience working in a Paraplanner job within Financial Planning.

Diploma qualified (CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning) and ideally progressing towards Chartered status.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to prioritise workloads under pressure.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Team-oriented, client-focused, proactive and motivated to improve and develop.
