About the Job

In this Commercial Property Paralegal job in Manchester, you will provide high-quality support to fee earners while assisting with compliance and handling transactional work. It’s a varied and client-facing position that allows you to develop your technical and organisational strengths in a busy legal environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening, closing and archiving client files
• Maintaining regulatory and internal compliance throughout transactions
• Updating file progress and monitoring critical dates
• Liaising with finance to support the billing process
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence under supervision
• Arranging meetings, logistics and preparing supporting materials for the team
• Handling inbound queries and directing client communications
• Undertaking legal research and drafting articles or updates for the firm
• Assisting with searches, document downloads and land registry tasks
• Supporting continuous improvement within the department
• Contributing to a strong client-focused team culture

About You

This job is ideal for a motivated paralegal with a strong background in either commercial or residential property law, who is now ready to build a long-term career within a top regional firm.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience working as a paralegal in property law
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and online legal tools
• Strong communication and written skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Confident managing deadlines and working independently
• Client-focused, professional and adaptable
• Experience using SOS case management (desirable)
• Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above
• Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for professional development
