Eventus Recruitment is seeking a Paralegal – Commercial Property to join a highly reputable and well-established law firm in Epsom, Surrey. This is a full-time, permanent position working within a Legal 500-ranked Commercial Property team. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Paralegal will be providing direct support to experienced Commercial Property Fee Earners in the Epsom office and will play an integral role in the delivery of client service excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate with a strong interest in Commercial Property to gain hands-on experience and develop expertise in a highly respected team.

The day-to-day duties within this role include:

  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry and SDLT forms
  • Drafting legal correspondence and documentation
  • Attending to clients and agents in person and via telephone
  • Assisting with post-exchange and completion formalities
  • Maintaining and organising client files and case documents
  • Arranging meetings and maintaining fee earner diaries
  • Operating the firm’s case management system
  • Assisting in marketing and business development activities
  • Ensuring high standards of client care and service

Person Specification

The successful Paralegal will be a law graduate with a keen interest in Commercial Property and ideally some prior legal experience preferably within commercial property or alternatively residential property. You will possess the following skills, attributes, and qualifications:

  • A law degree (essential)
  • Previous experience in a legal environment, ideally in property (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • A proactive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrate a commitment to career development within the legal profession
