Eventus Legal are seeking a motivated Paralegal to join the Agricultural team of a highly reputable, multi-service law firm in Cumbria. The office is commutable from Penrith, Kendal, Barnard Castle, Windermere and surrounding areas. This is a permanent position with excellent prospects for career progression, including the opportunity to secure a training contract.
Role Responsibilities
As the incoming Paralegal, you will support the Agricultural team with a varied caseload, gaining exposure to a range of matters, including:
- Agricultural property transactions
- Rural land sales and purchases
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Easements, rights of way, and boundary disputes
Person Specification
This role is ideal for an ambitious Paralegal who is enthusiastic about agricultural law and seeking a pathway to qualification. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience or a keen interest in agricultural law or property law
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
