Eventus Legal are seeking a Paralegal with experience in Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence to join a successful, expanding team based in Hartlepool. This is a full-time, permanent job role with excellent progression prospects to a training contract within 6 months. Other benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and free parking.
Role Responsibilities
The incoming Paralegal will be supporting a highly experienced Partner with his Personal Injury caseload. Along with this, you will be running (and be experienced with) a small number of cases yourself, under supervision, across all areas of personal injury including slips, trips, EL, PL, road traffic accidents as well as more complex matters such as serious injury and medical negligence.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills with a manageable, non-volume caseload learning from very experienced Partners.
Person Specification
The incoming Paralegal will have excellent knowledge in Personal Injury (minimum 1 year of work history) and ideally some experience with file-handling yourself. Importantly, the candidate will also be able to display:
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales
- Good I.T skills
Unfortunately, this is not suitable for recent graduates (unless you have paid work history in Personal Injury) so please do not apply unless you have this experience.

Salary is up to £24,000 for experienced Paralegals (those with multiple years of experience) and £22,000 - £23,500 for those with 1-2 years’ experience.
