Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Family Legal Secretary to join a firm based in Newcastle. This is a full-time, permanent position. Role Responsibilities
The successful Legal Secretary will predominantly be responsible for supporting four family fee-earners. Other duties include:
- Diary management
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence and court forms by audio and copy typing (digital dictation)
- Greeting visitors to the office
- Answering the telephone
- Photocopying, filing, scanning and other administrative duties
Person Specification
The incoming Legal Secretary will have a minimum of 5 years’ secretarial experience. You will also be able to work independently and provide excellent levels of customer service. Importantly, the candidate will also be able to display:
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability and use of own initiative
- Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales
- Excellent PC/keyboard skills
